My Favourite Book

I simply love books. “A book is a person’s best friend.” How true it is! Books don’t get angry, they don’t quarrel nor do they cry. Books are always there when one is lonely and needs company.

Reading is my favourite hobby that I have nurtured since childhood. I have many favourite books but the one that takes the cake is the book titled, “Visual Encyclopaedia”.

It is a very fat book of 608 pages and I really like to spend time with this fat friend of mine. My fat friend had taught me about World Atlas, Our World and its People, Earth, Nature, The Living World, Animal, Science and the Universe, Technology and Transport, Ancient Worlds and History of the World.

My friend has ensured that I become a well-read and knowledgeable person. This book was gifted to me by my father and it happens to be the best gift that I have ever received.
