At the beach, on a sunny day,

Just for the view, I came all the way.

Deep blue sea facing my eyes, glittering , as the waves made dips and highs.

As and while I saw the water,

I saw a sight that made my eyes water.

The sea changed its hue,

To oily black from deep blue.

Plastics, wrappers, sticking around,

On its surface with murk surround.

It started churning, writhing in pain,

All its beauty gone in vain.

The glory, the magnificence now lost,

I felt lonely, sad, my heart lost.

Why do we create dump yards of,

Such beautiful views, throw things off.

Is there a reason,

For this treason?

Is there any answer,

To this question?
