Oklahoma is a state in America. In a small village in Oklahoma seven naive children used to stay. They knew only one game which was basketball. The whole village had only one T.V on which only one sport was seen and it was basketball. The names of these seven children were Wade, Shane, John, Joe, Watson, Jerry and Clive. They were waiting for the day when they would become 17 years and could participate in the Basketball Association.

These children were like brothers, always helping each other. When they became 17 years their waiting was over and they went to O.K.L.A Basketball Association. These children got selected. His was the first time; their village was participating in a basketball association. They met five more children who were jack, Robbin, Steven, David and Fernando. Their coach was Nakagawa Nohara who was a former Japanese team coach. The name of the team was decided as Oklahoma Victors.

They got to prove themselves in the tournament of the All American Championship. To get selected they had to defeat the former Oklahoma team, Oklahoma Powers. They were eagerly waiting for their first basketball match, which they won. Even the commentator had exclaimed after their win, “Wow! What a match the young kids who are playing for the first time – Oklahoma Victors have won the match and are selected for the All American Championship.”

In that tournament the best of American basketball teams participated. Wade shouted on top of his voice that as a captain he wanted to give party to all the villagers for their support and motivation, he further said, “I can’t wait to play our first national match”, the rest of the team too added, “Even we can’t wait.”

Oklahoma Victors’ first match was declared, it was against a team that had won the championship four times, it was the New York Bulls. Before the match, Clive got nervous and said, “Oh no! Our first match is against the crowds’ favourite.” Like him everyone was excited at the same time nervous.

The match was in New York and these children had never even dreamed of going to New York. Finally they were in the court and the match had begun. NYB scored the first two goals, but as the game advances everyone was shocked to see the Oklahoma Victors win the match by 2 – 50. And they won their next match against Dallas, again with an unbelievable score of 30 against 6. These boys were called to Japan for their astonishing victories. Their name was on every news channels, newspapers and magazines.

Their semi-finals were against Washington champs. They won that match too by 106-46. The team now broke the world record of Russia who had defeated England with a score of 50-17. They were now called in Russia, where they were welcomed grandly. They were now heroes all over the world and signing autographs for their fans. Their dream had come true. They played a friendly match with Russia.

Now, they couldn’t wait for the finals but their coach Nohara told them, “Practice is all that you need and fight the match with all the power you have and win”.

On the day of the finals, the commentator was announcing in the mike, “Today are the finals and the A-A champions Miami Heat will play against the young power Oklahoma Victors.

The match started, and Oklahoma was losing by 26-0. But Captain Wades’ strategy was different; they were tiring the opponents as much as they could and attack. After half time of the match, they started implementing their strategy. Clive passed the ball to Wade and Wade to Shane, who threw the ball into the basket. After 25 minutes when the score was equal at 62-62, the Miami Heat team too was very strong, there were only five minutes left, and it was very difficult to say as to what might happen and there was a sudden turn of events. Miami Heat played a foul by hitting on Joe’s leg. Joe was substituted by jerry. Oklahoma was given a penalty in which Shane scored a goal, finally winning the match and the championship for the Oklahoma team. The crowd went crazy and cheered loudly for the team. Back home the villagers watching the match on the TV were so overjoyed that they were laughing and crying simultaneously. The boys had done them proud by winning a championship first time in history.

After some days Wade came to the green room and told the players, “I am very happy with our victory but now our true challenge is to play and win an international tournament as we are selected for the American team, American victors. So let’s wait and practice till that day comes.

American Victors won the international tournament by defeating the Indian Balvans in the final. These biys are now the best basketball players.
